Back in the day, my friend Josie introduced me to Transcendental Meditation. What I like about meditation is that it's there for you whenever you need it. So, when I'm having a hard day or a flare-up, my mantra is always there for me. The same goes for breathing exercises. I've used breathing exercises as a way to combat the "scaries"—mostly to know that I exist, that I am here. Maybe you call that being grounded; I don't know. It works for me.
I've been thinking and feeling a lot about impermanence and kind of diving into the unknown—maybe exploring possibilities and what all that means. I know this: my heart is getting larger and larger. Maybe that's because I'm learning to love myself in a way that I haven't before
